In regards to both Jim and now Tom Pohlad, at this point in my opinion, almost anything that comes out of their mouths at this point in regards to the Minn. Twins future, is largely propoganda, manipulation, scripted, and untruths with almost entirely the sole purpose of continuing to try and suck more money from more deserving fans (who deserve better treatment and more honesty) in regards to the real motives in regards to the future of the Minn. Twins. due to their long time loyalty of this past proud franchise, and fans past willingness to support and spend much of their hard earned money on the Pohlads now present "dead horse" of a team (totally and purposely their fault) for the main purpose to put as much more money into their pockets as possible. Eventhough the once longtime proud Minn. Twins team has already made them billions of dollars over the years, as well as their dad's hard earned fortune, obviously this isn't enough. Just what they will make when they sell the team alone will make them billions of dollars of profit. The main reason they decided not to sell the team last year in my opinion is because they know this team will continue to go up in value and continue to add to their present family fortune. Of course, they never want the public to focus on this fact. The most blatant proof of this was when they gutted one of the best relief pitching staffs in all of baseball last year, trading away in my opinion at least three or more "all star level" and we'll loved relief pitchers, along with numerous other quality and well loved position players last year, Now in my opinion, they are again trying to falsely tell us their main goal is to bring us another winning season! RIGHT!! They are going to do this by picking up "bargain basement" past their prime, cheap, mediocre at best", past injured relief pitchers and position players that most other teams don't want, and pretend like this is going to replace all the high quality players they got rid of last year. I guess they are afraid that their already billions of dollars they are worth, and they have already made from their longtime ownership of the "past" proud and "past" respected Minnesota Twins franchise isn't enough and that they might run out of money in the next three or four hundred years.. I even feel if their father Carl was still alive, he might be disappointed and ashamed of what his sons have done to this team, and how they have treated all the past longtime loyal and hard working fans of the Minn. Twins. Even Carl gave an ok and was willing to spend money to bring in players, if the front office felt it could possibly bring the state of Minn. and it's deserving fans a World Series title, and of course he made this dream come true twice in four years. I of course welcome any feedback whether supporting or not, of my above opinions. Sincerely. Mike L· 0 replies
