Shortening the season by 8 games for health reasons is fine,but leaving the start date doesn't do it. Playing games in freezing weather is not a good idea. They should start the season April 10 and make schedules in the south and west or in dome stadiums if possible. And adding playoff games would only bring the WS into November when fans are into CFB and NFL. Plus again the weather becomes a problem for teams in the north. If you want to protect players health especially pitchers do you really think with pitchers go down and having TJ at a higher rate play in cold weather does that. It should be 148 game season and finish before November.
