USA has managed to 1 single and a walk in 5 innings. 2 runs in last 17 innings. Only 12 outs left.

Called strike on a ball 4 to win it. And more than barely low. Wow. And people still think Umps don’t deny us of true results. They try to do their best but could not. Personally, as a fan of great baseball, I would have loved to see Miller have to face Tatis with runners on first and third with 2 outs as it should have been. Regardless of who would have won the game.

Buxton with a great low outside take and ump calls it a strike anyway. Then he fulfills his destiny and swings and misses on the same outside pitch for strike 3. Damn. Only guy in today’s lineup batting .000

Turing gaff. Raleigh passed ball last game (none all 2025!). Tough errors for the best at their positions. I hope we didn’t jinx Crow-Armstrong. And now Skenes hitting his second batter with 2 strikes. Homer was a 2 strike count, too. Well, they both got away with it this inning today.

Not the first runner thrown out at third in the WBC by Judge, either!

Buxton hitless and and practicing swinging at his low and outside sliders. Crow-Armstrong hitting well and now a better fielder. That would be my decision, too.

Looks like Buxton should be on the bench and Crow-Armstrong in the lineup everyday.
