American League pitching staff deserved the MVP! Bellinger wins it, for a single single. Cheap. Only extra base hit all game was the Vargas homer. 9 singles and a homer. -
3 singles for the National League. Pretty boring Allstar game all in all. So much for the National League being so much better this year, eh? (I know, this game means virtually nothing)

At least Ryan didn’t give up the only hit. Instead former teammate Varland and Ryan now both ruined the potential no-hitter. Minor detail….. both pitched well. Pretty amazing how futile the Nationals have been at the plate.

Called strike on a ball 4 to win it. And more than barely low. Wow. And people still think Umps don’t deny us of true results. They try to do their best but could not. Personally, as a fan of great baseball, I would have loved to see Miller have to face Tatis with runners on first and third with 2 outs as it should have been. Regardless of who would have won the game.
