Yeah, this is going to get ugly. I think we can be pretty much certain that we will have a shortened or delayed season in 2027. We have a long ways to go, and I really doubt either side will be willing to make any compromises for a while. I really hope they get something figured out because as an avid baseball fan, a shortened season would be bad for players, owners, and fans

It's a fun idea, but not really practical. Not many prospects or retired MLB vets will be able to hang around the ballclub all year for the off chance that there is a blowout. It is also way to gimmicky for the MLB. The one thing I would like about this would be to see College guys try to throw against MLB hitters. I also miss the old days of Jackie Bradley Jr. out there throwing 90 mph and actually trying to get guys out as a pitching position player.

Who would have guessed Italy and Venezula in the semis. U.S. DR semi is definitely the most star-studded of the two.

I think if MLB is going to expand to 32 teams, they need to have 8 divisions of 4. I think that 8 teams in one division is signifigantly too many. I would love to see a world with Milwaukee and Minnesota in the same division, but I don't know if that is possible.

If this is based on Geographical Alignment, why are the Twins in a division with two Texas teams and a team from Colorado. Of all the teams they seem to have the longest to go for their division. It's a fun exercise however.

It's an interesting idea, and I would be for it, but I doubt that this would get past labor agreements. Also, I had no idea there even was a rivalry week until just now.

Good article, but it is hard to call Dylan Cease a free agent steal when he is likely to fetch a two hundred million dollar contract this offseason.
